Bill Burr on Religion

This is a short video clip of comedian Bill Burr explaining why he walked away from religion. Though he uses some strong language not appropriate for all ages, he makes a very good point that I know I can relate to personally. He says that other religions sound stupid because “I heard their story when I was an adult.” His religion that he eventually left behind (Christianity) was one he heard about when he was “like 4 years old” so it made sense. How true is that of so many of us? I know that as an adult, all religions now sound pretty stupid to me and their stories make no sense. But as a child, when taught these stories by people I loved and trusted, they made sense and were believable. Enjoy…
